I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the cosmic AI division at Fermilab. I work with a phenomenal group of scientists in the Deepskies Lab, including Brian Nord and Aleksandra Ciprijanovic, to better understand uncertainty in machine learning. This is a critical and rapidly evolving field; as you might imagine, the ethical and scientific importance of understanding and interpreting the answers given by machine learning cannot be oversold.
I am most drawn to tackling scientific questions using fun statistical and computational tools.
I have many other interests including outreach, science writing, and science art (including JWST stickers!) which you can explore using the sidebar.
